As always everyone we worked with was professional and courteous. upon arrival we were greeted and assisted by a trainee in the service department unfortunately I don't remember her name. She did a great job making sure all of our needs were met. She advised of the back up in the shop and it would be about 2 hours. Roughly an hour and forty-five minutes later we were signing paperwork. As always very pleased to have Koons as our dealer.

First, I did not have a ride back home in time to get back to work, so Dave Hammond was kind enough to find a very nice young man drive me home in my car, then the young man returned to the shop. (I should start by saying Dave tried to find me a loaner, but none was available). He tried hard. He kept the car safe over night and I picked it up the following afternoon. All went well and I was very satisfied with the personnel and service.

I came in for a free factory recall they said they couldn't fix until they fixed $395 of other check engine light "situations" they found. I was then quoted $395 to fix 2 problems they found, then the one I actually came in for. When I went to pick up my SUV they then tried to charge me $500. Somehow they quickly made it right when I questioned the extra amount and I paid the original quote, Peculiar. I do feel a little bamboozled though as I went in for a free recall that was Chevy's fault and still paid 400. Not sure I'll be back

Horrible - We were supposed to pick our vehicle up Monday but the vehicle wasn't there When they told us Saturday they could get it from a local dealer that day). The dealership had no issue with doing the paperwork and getting the money without delivering a vehicle. I make a second trip to pick up the vehicle the next day and when the tags were being transferred they realized the front license plate holder was not there. They told me to bring it back Saturday and they would take care of it. Saturday arrives and I'm told Monday. I'm not taking off work to get a license plate holder added. They have no concerns about the extra mileage, gas and time to do something that should have been done before leaving the lot. You would think for a $65K vehicle their customer service would be jumping through hoops to make their customer satisfied. Not this Koons location, This ordeal has been nothing but frustrating.

We dropped by initially a few weeks ago when we had gone up to Columbia to see a dog vet. We first wanted to see some Buicks. Xavier and Isha explained that situation, and had us take a look at the GMC Terrain and Equinox. After I traveled for work, and also go bad news on repair outlook on an old Dodge, I knew that we would try to buy a vehicle quickly. Xavier got me some info, and I did some research online. We came in Saturday figuring we were about 75% likely to buy soon. Prices were still not affected by Tariff News, and we came in, discussed with Jack Pepal (Xavier was busy with a customer and he ok'ed that), asked lots of questions Jack helped us with, and we felt comfortable with Jack, the price, and the vehicle (RS Equinox). Very happy with the process, and with the car so far.

The service department helped me schedule an appointment for 7am on a Tuesday. They didn’t actually start working on it until Friday. Communication was terrible. I’d text and get no reply, had dropped calls, or “leave a message” option just to never get called back. We resorted to calling the Sales dept just to get someone to pick up. I can understand being too busy to diagnose or repair a vehicle, but misleading us to believe a repair would be happening soon felt deceptive. We could have kept driving the vehicle and saved the $$$ we spent on a rental car if they were just honest from the get go. Will never get repair or service work done here again.

I purchased my 2025 GMC AT4 and am a very happy customer. All of the folks at the dealership were very helpful, courteous and thankful for my business. My Salesman, Zak, was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable especially considering his short time in the vehicle selling business. I ordered my truck since I have some particular wants and don't wants. Even though it took 4 months to arrive, Zak and Josh kept me apprised of progress all along the way. Your Used Car Manager (can't remember his name, Derrrick I believe) shared the reasoning for my appraisal, and all commented on the great shape and cleanliness of my trade. Last, but not least, was your Finance Manager, Jordan. He went through all the options of financing and the extended warranties. All in all, it was a great experience which I can't say for other GMC dealers in my area.

I brought my EV in about 9:30 for a scheduled appt. It was not major service and the only thing done was to rotate the tires. I believe it was done around 11:30 which seemed like a long time to wait for a minor service. It was OK though as I was able to work on the WiFi which was fast and reliable. The coffee was good too. The best thing of all was the bill. It was only $35.00! All in all it was a good experience.

1. Check Engine Light During Test Drive: During the test drive, the check engine light came on. While we completed paperwork, we were told it had been checked by your mechanic and there was no identifiable issue. 2. Recurring Engine Problems Post-Purchase: After completing the purchase and taking the car on the highway to go home, the check engine light reappeared—along with other misfire warnings and clear engine trouble. We had to return to the dealership and wait over an hour while your team discovered and fixed the issue (a spark plug connection that should have been addressed before the sale, after we flagged the check engine light during the test drive). 3. Extremely Lengthy Purchase Process: It took almost six hours to finalize the sale, over 2 days, which is unreasonable and frustrating! All while multiple people stood around the dealership, not busy with customers or work. 4. Incorrect Vehicle Paperwork: The MOST concerning issue is that we were given the wrong title and are now told (on Wednesday) that we signed a contract for a different vehicle. We don’t have the right title! We even flagged this during the sale but was told the VIN and vehicle description didn’t matter and the price was all that counted. Now I’m being asked to return and sign corrected paperwork. I reached out on Monday to let David know that the “secure” links we were given with our paperwork were not working with what should have been the correct password. 5. Misleading Trade-In Experience: I also feel misled about one of my trade-ins. While waiting in the service area, I saw signage promoting a “We won’t be beat” trade-in promise. I had shown a Carvana value that was over $1,000 more than your offer to the new car sales manager—and was still told your offer stood. Had I seen that sign earlier, I would have pressed harder for a better value. 6. The paperwork process continued over three more days. At least. They were late to bring the paperwork, almost 2 hours beyond the time that was promised. And there were forms that we still had to go back-and-forth with after we signed what they had delivered.

I appreciated how quickly Koons was able to take in my vehicle and complete the repairs. However, I’m giving three stars instead of five due to a lack of transparency around pricing. My service representative, David, initially quoted me around $700 and mentioned the final cost would likely be lower. When I arrived to pick up my car, the total was nearly $900. When I asked about the unexpected increase, he could only reference the pricing of parts and wasn’t able to give a clear explanation. At no point was I contacted for approval about more expensive parts or asked whether I still wanted to move forward based on the new price. Unfortunately, this felt like a bait-and-switch experience, and I will take my vehicle elsewhere in the future.

My first oil change was supposed to be complimentary. I was told I had to have used that within a year from purchase. I had my first oil change scheduled within a year but due to the service department POOR scheduling, I had to get out of line that day and go elsewhere. This was my 2nd oil change and was denied the complimentary service by both the driver and in advisor and his “boss” upstairs. Just a sad business model.

Customer service was horrible, I was cursed at by one for the advisors and then was hang up on by the manager. Also my vehicle obtain a scratch while in their care when I called about it I was told that the manager would call me back within 20 minutes but I did not receive a call. I received an email the next day, after sending them pictures they sent me back a video of me dropping off my car but in the video you can not see if the scratches were there or not. I still have not received a response about getting a clearer picture or some type of solution to the problem.

My 2020 Encore gets great mileage, and drives like new. I have high mileage on my car because I drive regularly and long distances. The car reached a mileage milestone, and the report indicated that brakes would need attention soon. So, I took my car to the dealer for brakes and a Check Engine indicator. Brakes are expensive close to $2000. On top of that, the service manager thinks it is critical to replace the catalytic converter for another $3000. Well, here is where I have to question the the service. I am getting the same mileage I have getting since the car was new. There is no smell, no rumbling from the exhaust system, either in the vehicle or at the back. Maybe there is a problem with the O2 sensors. I don't believe my service manager, and I tried to question his reasoning. I was displeased and felt like this was a way of making unnecessary improvements. It’s been a lengthy process that could’ve been completed well over 3 weeks ago. A simple electrical fix (that I provided a TSB for) turned into failed recall fixes, a failed airbag fix, turned into a fix after pushing back, into now my factory remote start, fog lights, and cruise control all do not work, which means I am returning my truck on 7/9 to have them look at and determine if it’s “something they did”. I made my appointment online and specified I did NOT want tire rotation as part of the service. I took multiple coupons with me and the service advisor who checked me in applied the one that gave me a discount for the service provide (hopefully the best one). Vehicle was serviced the same day, all good. Except when I checked out I noticed that the service included tire rotation. The service advisor checking me out informed me that the comments made on the online reservation do not get to the service techs, which is not good. However, after I inspected the invoice more closely at home, I noticed that my note to not perform tire rotation was printed on the invoice. So I don't understand how it did not get to the service techs. I'm glad it wasn't for something more serious than tire rotation.

Service was quick, happy about that. However, halfway home check engine light came on with a notification to check the air induction system and transmission system. Upon arriving home, open the hood to find the some of the sensors that were disconnected weren’t reconnected following service resulting in the check engine light on. I reconnected and reset the system to resolve the issue but after spending over $200 on service, I shouldn’t have to come home a perform a diagnostic on why the check engine light is on.

In April I special ordered a vehicle from Koons Chevrolet in Clarksville, 4.5 months later I saw my vehicle on their website for sale to the public!!! When I went to the dealership, my vehicle was on the lot for sale to the public. Imagine how if felt! Josh, the mgr, I ordered the vehicle from was on vacation, and Derick, the mgr, on duty said there wasn't any information to show we even ordered a vehicle. Took a lot of convincing Derick that I ordered this truck and to have him hold it for me so I could get back with my trade. He finally agreed to hold it and I purchased it 2 days later. Jordon, the finance person, wasn’t very professional, he just gave us papers and said sign here, I had to ask what each paper was so I knew what I was signing. Never heard anymore from Josh, and never received an apology for not notifying me truck was in, or putting it on the lot. Koons Chevrolet in Clarksville needs to create/improve their process for Special Orders and the way they treat their customers. We have been dealing with this Chevrolet location for over 30 years and this was the worst experience.

I am pleased that my truck was fixed and seems to be running well. The customer service was great. There is one thing that I don't understand. Why have appointments when they don't mean anything? Everytime I come at my scheduled appointment I end up having to drop the truck off and it usually doesn't get looked at for a day or two. It would be much more convenient if the appointment was for the actual day it would be looked at. It's tough finding rides to work in the mean time.

I thought I explained the problem well, the person did not show me the notes and just had me sign. They wasted 2 days of my time looking at the wrong thing. I said a 3rd of my screen does not work and another screen doesn't work at all. But they put in their notes it goes black when I drive, so they took it on 3 unneeded test drives. All for it to be a software update that was needed. So I'm thankful for the other guy who finally listened to my problem and figured out the issue within 30 mins.

There was a miscommunication between the call center scheduler and the dealership. When I arrived for my appointment, the staff informed me that the service I was scheduled for isn’t typically done in the afternoon, as it takes more than an hour. Fortunately, they called someone and were able to fit me in despite the scheduling error — that was definitely a plus. A few things to note: I’m not sure what was actually completed during the recall appointment, as I never received the final service write-up. The associate said it wasn’t ready and that it would be emailed, but I haven’t received it yet. They forgot to reset the oil light in the car. I checked before leaving, and they confirmed the oil was replaced, but I don’t know if the oil cap was changed or inspected. Overall, I appreciated their effort to accommodate me, but better communication and follow-through would have made the experience smoother.

dissapointed that I requested "Corvette" mechanic to work on my car as I always do. This was not done by Corvette guy and the one who did it apparently overfilled the oil. I started it up and after making a bunch of clanking sounds while trying to turnover it finally started and was blowing smoke out of the exhaust. Apparently master mechanic on site looked at it and determined oil was overfilled. They emptied out new oil and did replaced it again. Was still blowing out smoke, but after a test drive it must have blown out all the oil issues and is now running fine. This is why I always request corvette specialist to work on my car! I also have interior lights which don't go out until 5-10 minutes after turning car off. These are the lights on the rear view mirror, and they remain on while driving. Shut off on their own after 5-10 minutes after car is turned off. They never got the chance to check them out.....

I love the work at your service department does. I like all your managers there especially Dave Hammond. The only cause for I guess my concern is the cost. I realize cost are going up everywhere but it seems a little ridiculous and the price you charge just for an oil change. Lots of places, give free tire rotations with the oil change and then you charge for that also.So I am starting to get a little reluctant as to whether I bring my vehicle in there for the oil change at the prices that you’re starting to charge.

I took my Silverado in for an oil change/tire rotation/inspection package. My favorite service writer, Dave, was handling another customer. Mr. Fernandez offered to help me. I presented him with a discount coupon ($139.99) on the service that you mailed to me. He looked befuddled by that. I then showed him my last service invoice from Koons that recommended a trans. fluid change and front and rear differential fluid change. Clearly, he did not understand what I was asking for. He gave me an estimate for $743.47 for all of the services which I agreed to. I received no phone call, just a text came saying pick up the truck. The invoice upon arrival was for $1,073.49. He didn't apply the coupon and charged me double for the differential service. Fortunately, Dave was there and helped straighten this out as Fernandez did not include the cost of fluids in the estimate. I wound up paying $829.39 which I felt was fair once Dave explained it to me. I am old and really don't need aggravation like this, I never had issues with Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring and my wife thinks I should go back to using Sport. I also own a 2025 GMC Terrain which I bought from Koons in March. Please give Dave a good review, he is very good. I am not sure if Mr. Fernandez is ready to deal with the public.

I did not get the service I expected. Maybe it was a communication issue. The person who checked me in was not the person who checked me out. I wanted to get the EV multi service that was advertised on the webpage but when I got home I discovered that the only thing they did was rotate the tires! There was no battery inspection, no multi point inspection, no fluid checks etc. I really wanted to get my EV thoroughly checked out before my warranty expired. Very disappointed.

I was very unhappy about the communication from the service department. I dropped my truck (still under warranty) off on a Sunday night for a 7am Monday appointment. I finally called Tuesday afternoon and was told that I had a bad throttle body and they were waiting to hear if Chevy would approve a new one or rebuild the old one and they would call me back. I called again Wednesday afternoon to be told by another employee they never rebuild throttle bodies and I would need to wait 2-3 weeks to get a new one. Again, another 24 hours passed and I had to call for an update as someone was supposed to get back to me Wednesday about a loaner car for 2-3 weeks. Thursday afternoon I was told the parts were coming in for a rebuild (after being told the day before they don't rebuild) and that the truck would be ready Friday. I CALLED AGAIN Friday afternoon for an update and was told the truck would be ready Saturday. I CALLED again Saturday finally to be told the truck would be ready in the evening. Not ONCE did I receive a call from the service department about the status of my truck. I am in the customer service industry and I was appalled that I had to call every 24-48 hours and got vastly different reports on the status of my vehicle.

I've used Koons Clarksville multiple times in the past for my 2016 C7 Corvette and never had an issue. I brought it in on Monday 1/19/2026 for a regular oil change. All was well until I received the bill... $254!! I was told that they used Mobile 1 oil Synthetic Oil like it was the holy grail! $166 for less than 10 quarts of oil. Note... my C7 is not a Z51 which requires 9 quarts. Either way... that's ~ $16/quart. WTH?? You can buy 5 qts at AutoZone or Walmart for $30 or less. Sadly... I was never told how much to expect for the oil change. Won't happen again.

I bought my truck from Koons in Clarksville about 4 months ago. This was my first experience with the service department there and I was extremely disappointed and frustrated. I will not be going back I dropped the truck off at 7:15 in the morning. All of the requests I had added to my appointment request a week prior to the appointment had been ignored so they didn’t have a part that they needed to fix the truck. They took the car to do a 15,000 mile check up. I also asked them to install a brake controller which initially the woman told me they didn’t do because my truck came with the capability already installed. I questioned her and she said she would ask the mechanic about it. I left the truck with them and expected somebody to give me a call sometime during the day to tell me what the estimate was before they did the work. Every other garage, even dealership garage, that I’ve ever been to does this as a matter of course. Koons did not do this. Instead, they didn’t get in touch with me all day until 445 when I received a generic email that said my car was ready to be picked up. When I got there, they told me that they had written down the wrong phone number and we’re unable to get in touch with me.(although they did have my email clearly), so they had gone ahead and done the work without my consent. They charged me almost $200 to install this brake controller. If I had known that was the price I would’ve said no because I have a friend who would’ve done it for me for free. But, even worse, was that they installed the brake controller without using the bracket that it came with and installed it in a very awkward position so now my knee hits it when I sit in the seat. I’m very upset. I could move the brake control controller myself, but The truck has now been drilled into by Koons. I have only owned this truck for four months and now I feel like there’s a big problem with it due to the very people I bought it from.

Very quick service. HOWEVER, I noticed a couple of issues that weren't apparent until I received the invoice electronically: 1) I was asked upon arrival if I needed a tire rotation, to which I replied "NO". I had this service with my last oil change. But I was billed for it and assume the work was completed ... despite that I implicitly said I didn't want it. 2) I scheduled my appointment online for an oil change and cabin filter change. The latter does not appear on the invoice, so was the work not performed??? I was told by the service advisor that I needed to replace the rear wiper blade and ENGINE air filter, which of course I agreed to. Would the cabin filter had been included even though not specifically shown on the invoice? Needless to say, this is the first time I've been rather disappointed with Koons service. Your prompt response is appreciated. Thank you.

I had a great experience during my recent service visit. The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly, and the other gentlemen in the area came over and started talking to me. He had me cracking up, and asked what I was having for dinner that night and I told him left over salmon so he invited himself over for dinner and even invited the man who checked me in! But he said he doesn't like salmon and if I were making clams he'd come over. Needless to say I was laughing and I wish I remembered their names, of course Kacey who I deal with is always great and she told me that I had a good amount of money in rewards so I used that towards my payment. I traded in my 2023 Buick and put $10,000 down on a 2026 Trailblazer RS, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I came in with a Capital One pre‑approval, but the dealership told me it was denied. After checking my credit report, I found out they never even submitted it. Instead, they ran my credit through multiple other banks without my permission. That is dishonest and unacceptable. Right after leaving the lot, the car had issues — steering wheel vibration over 50 mph and a glitching infotainment system. The service department fixed the bad tire and updated the system, but these problems should have been caught before selling a brand‑new vehicle, especially after putting down such a large payment. I love the Trailblazer, but the lack of transparency with financing and the poor quality control made this one of the most frustrating car‑buying experiences I’ve ever had. Dealerships need to stop misleading customers. Being a young black woman purchasing on her own, this was a major learning experience for me.
